Vista : Vista Man Sought in Two Shootings
A Vista man suspected of shooting a U.S. Border Patrol agent and another man within a three-hour period on Dec. 22 has been named in a six-count, no-bail arrest warrant, a San Diego Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Tuesday.
The warrant charges David Lopez Arguelles, 27, with the attempted murder of agent William Beaumet, 31, and with assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting of Javier Silvino Cedillo-Reyes, 30, of Oceanside, deputies said.
Lopez is also charged with use of a firearm to inflict great bodily injury in the shooting of Beaumet, which occurred about 12:45 a.m. The shooting of Cedillo-Reyes occurred about three hours earlier and the same gun was used, deputies said.
