ORANGE COUNTY PREP BASKETBALL : Freeway League : Toscano Leads Buena Park to an Upset Over Fullerton

Tony Toscano scored 13 points Wednesday night to lead Buena Park High School to a 55-47 upset victory over Fullerton in a Freeway League game played in the Coyotes’ gym.
Fullerton trailed, 29-18, at the half time, but closed to within four points in the fourth quarter. That was as close as the Indians would get. Ralph Tallant led all scorers with 16 points and Chris Zerga added 10 points for Fullerton.
In other Freeway League action:
Troy 41, Sonora 32-- The Warriors gained an 11-point half time and maintained the edge through the second half to defeat the Warriors at Troy High.
Mark Rudometkin and Rob Burrer each scored 10 points to lead Troy, and point guard Jeff Ferren added 7 assists. The Warriors improve to 1-0 in league and 7-7 overall. The Raiders (2-10) were led by Grayle Humphrey, who scored eight points.
