Alemany Girls Shut Out Hart in Soccer, 1-0
With a win over Saugus High on Monday, the Alemany girls soccer team could could complete a sweep of the Santa Clarita Valley.
The visting Indian Maidens beat Hart, 1-0, Thursday. The win improves Alemany’s record to 2-0, 10-3-1 overall.
“We’re really pleased with this one,” Alemany Coach Marsha Takahashi said. “Hart is considered one of the toughest teams around.”
Sophomore Shannon Lambert scored the sole goal on a penalty kick early in the second half.
