Fire Ruins 48 Apartments

ARLINGTON, Tex. — A fire raced through garden apartments near a University of Texas campus Sunday, destroying 48 of them and leaving scores of people homeless, authorities said.
Two residents and one firefighter suffered minor injuries in the blaze, the cause of which was being investigated.
