Grossmont Trio Combines for 71 in 93-88 Win

Shaun Manning scored 25 points and Juan Espinoza and Tyrone Muldrow added 23 points each Wednesday night to lead Grossmont Junior College past San Diego City College, 93-88, in a Pacific Coast Conference basketball game at San Diego City.

Grossmont connected on 41 of 51 shots from the free throw line in the game. Espinoza, who has already signed to play at San Diego State next season, was 17 for 19 from the line. The victory was the Griffins’ 18th straight in conference play over two seasons and improved their record to 6-0, 20-4.
