Cal Lutheran Falls to Westmont, 78-65

Westmont College defeated Cal Lutheran University, 78-65, Tuesday night in an NAIA District III basketball game. Westmont College took a 38-26 halftime lead on 63% shooting from the field.

Westmont’s Will Smith led all scorers with 18 points. Jeffrey Azain had 10 assists for the Warriors. Lionel Boyce and Steve Cotner led the Kingsmen with 14 points. Westmont is 16-6 overall, 7-1 in conference. Cal Lutheran dropped to 5-17, 2-6.
