Seattle Seahawk Coach Chuck Knox and his staff have signed new contracts with the club, general manager Mike McCormack announced. Details of the contracts were not disclosed.
McCormack said the Seahawks now are turning full attention toward their 20 free agents and the upcoming college draft.
The free agents include nine starters from last season’s 8-8 team--quarterback Dave Krieg, defensive end Jeff Bryant, safety John Harris, linebackers Keith Butler and Bruce Scholtz and offensive linemen Bob Cryder, Robert Pratt, Edwin Bailey and Ron Essink.
