Wynalda Kicks Westlake Past Camarillo
Eric Wynalda, the leading scorer on Westlake High’s soccer team, scored three goals to lead his team past Camarillo, 4-2, in a Marmonte League game Tuesday.
The Warriors scored two goals in the first half, then two more in the second half for the win. Brett Potter scored the other goal for Westlake. Wynalda now has 25 goals in 19 games.
Westlake, which is in a tight race for a playoff berth, is 6-3-2 in league and 11-5-4 overall. Camarillo is 3-8-1 in league and 7-11-1 overall.
