Ocean View Names Coaching Finalists

Fountain Valley High School assistant coaches Guy Carrozzo and George Berg, Bishop Amat head Coach Don Markham and La Canada head Coach Steve Silverman are the final candidates for the position of head football coach at Ocean View High, John Webb, the school’s activities director, said Wednesday.
The finalists will be interviewed Friday by a panel to consist of Webb, Athletic Director Tim Mennealy and Principal John Myers. An announcement is expected to be made Monday, Webb said.
The opening was created when Karl Gaytan announced last month that he was resigning to pursue business interests in Fresno.
