St. Genevieve Defeats Chaminade in Softball

St. Genevieve High’s softball team scored three runs on two Chaminade errors in the third inning and went on to defeat the Eagles, 4-1, Wednesday in a San Fernando Valley League game at Chase Park.
The Valiants got their other run in the fifth inning on a home run by Ann Baida. St. Genevieve is 3-2 in league and 7-3 overall. Chaminade dropped to 10-2-1 overall.
