Walter Ray Williams Jr. defeated top-seeded Gil Sliker, 219-204, in the title game of the $130,000 Fair Lanes Open in Baltimore to become the first two-time champion on the Professional Bowlers Assn. Tour this year.
Williams, a four-time world horseshoe pitching champion out of Stockton, Calif., added $20,000 to his PBA money lead, which totals $86,215.
