Unbeaten Tillman Fights Tonight

Olympic heavyweight boxing champion Henry Tillman of Los Angeles will fight Bashiru Ali of Nigeria and Oakland tonight in a cruiserweight bout from Las Vegas’ Showboat Hotel. It will be televised by ESPN.
Tillman, according to trainer Mercer Smith, will be close to either a World Boxing Assn. or International Boxing Federation cruiserweight championship bout if he beats Ali tonight. Tillman is 9-0. Ali, ranked No. 1 among World Boxing Council cruiserweights, is 25-7.
