Nothing could have astounded me more than the performance of Marlo Thomas in “Nobody’s Child.” The casting, direction and photography went beyond excellence and above it all rose Thomas with the big, hidden talent. I have seen her in light, fluffy comedies, but 15 minutes into this movie, I realized that this woman will be a star of some magnitude in the ‘80s.
