Guard Quintin Dailey of the Chicago Bulls is training to become a counselor in a drug program, his agent said.
Eloise Saperstein said Dailey “will be released from treatment soon” at Van Nuys Community Hospital and then will be a counselor at the facility.
Dailey entered the program last February. It was the second time during the season that he came forward with a drug problem and was suspended without pay. If Dailey has one more drug offense, he could be banned from the NBA for life, although his banishment could be reviewed after t2003771513
