Amerlinck Moves Into Quarterfinals

Chapman College’s Olivier Amerlinck moved into the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II individual tennis championships with a 6-3, 6-3 victory Friday over Khalid Outaleb of the Florida Institute of Technology at Cal State Northridge.

Outaleb was the No. 4 seed in the tournament and Amerlinck is unseeded. He plays Pat Emmet of Rollins College in the quarterfinals today at 9:30 a.m. The semifinals are at 1:30.
