CSUN’s Patterson Finishes Second in High Jump

Sue Patterson of Cal State Northridge finished second in the high jump at 6-0 Friday on the third day of competition at the four-day NCAA Division II track and field championships at Cal State Los Angeles.
Patterson placed behind Yolanda Henry (6-2 1/2) of Abilene Christian for the second straight year.
The CSUN women are sixth in the team standings with 25 points after 10 events. Abilene Christian is first with 63 points.
Gary Jackson scored the only points the Northridge men’s team will score at the meet by placing fourth in the long jump at 25-1 1/2. Jackson was the only CSUN men’s athlete to qualify for a final.
