Newly crowned North American Boxing Federation cruiserweight champion Henry Tillman will defend his title June 15 in Atlantic City, N.J., against Bert Cooper, fight promoters announced in New York.
Tillman, of Los Angeles, won a gold medal in the heavyweight division at the 1984 Olympics. His professional record is 10-0 with seven knockouts.
Tillman captured the cruiserweight title April 22, stopping Bash Ali in the first round. Cooper, of Philadelphia, has lost once and 10 of his 12 pro fights have been by knockout.
