W. Hollywood Lights to Shine in Crime Protest

Share

Sheriff’s deputies in West Hollywood are asking residents to indicate their support of efforts to curb crime by participating in the third “National Night Out” on Tuesday.

To participate, residents should turn on all outside lights at their homes between 8 and 9 p.m. and motorists should turn on their headlights during the day.

“This will be a symbolic message that Neighborhood Watch groups are in place and criminal activity will not be tolerated in our community,” West Hollywood Mayor Steve Schulte said. “National Night Out is a positive demonstration of the value and effectiveness of law enforcement and community members working together in a partnership against crime.”
