UCI Women Beat Rutgers in Volleyball Opener

Sophomore Kris Roberts and freshman Teresa Mergens had five kills each as the UC Irvine women’s volleyball team opened its season with a 15-4, 15-4, 15-7 victory Wednesday at Rutgers.

Sophomore Dana Parker added five aces for the Anteaters. Irvine plays Temple today.
