SDSU Gets 12th Win in Volleyball

SAN DIEGO — San Diego State’s women’s volleyball team added another victory to its best start ever Wednesday night with a 12-15, 15-6, 15-2, 15-12 decision over Pepperdine.
The Aztecs (12-0), ranked No. 1 by the National Collegiate Athletic Assn., were led by Kris Morton, who had 21 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Kim Harsch added 17 kills, Renee Pankopf 14 and Sally Larsen and Jackie Mendez 13 each. Pepperdine, ranked 16th, fell to 3-2.
SDSU will play in the Cal State Fullerton Tournament Friday night.
