Valley Passes Harbor, 50-21

Barry Hanks threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns to lead Valley College to a 50-21 win over Harbor in a Southern California Conference game Saturday night at Valley.
The win improved the Monarchs’ record to 1-3 overall, 1-1 in conference. Harbor is 2-2 overall, 1-1 in the SCC.
Hanks, who had earlier thrown scoring passes of 25 and 21 yards to wide receiver Timothy Johnson, put the game out of reach with fourth-quarter scoring tosses of 58 and 13 yards to John Jake and Donore Bausley, respectively. Hanks also ran for a one-yard touchdown late in that quarter. Hanks completed 20 of 30 passes and Jake caught six passes for 198 yards.
