Aaron Franklin of Sylmar blocked a Grant punt late in the first quarter to set up his team’s first touchdown late in the first quarter. The score came six plays after the block on a one-yard run by Shawn Fontenot early in the second quarter. . . .Dan Maynar, also of Sylmar, recovered the ball on the ensuing kickoff on the Grant 25 to set up Sylmar’s second score, which came four plays later on a six-yard pass from Rick Negrete to David Arms. . . .Grant got its only score with 7:30 left in the third quarter when Ray Palmer returned a fumble 87 yards for a touchdown.

KEY PLAYERS
