For the record: On the receiving end of Kesa Harding’s 62-yard touchdown pass in Friday’s Monroe-Van Nuys game was Sean Roberts.
In a battle of winless teams, Monroe scored 23 points in the first quarter. . . . Monroe quarterback Kesa Harding scored a 10-yard touchdown run with 6:02 left in the first quarter to open the scoring. . . . After Van Nuys fumbled the kickoff on the Wolves’ 7-yard line, Harding threw a seven-yard scoring pass to Harold Ciccone. . . . Later in the first quarter, Harding threw a 62-yard touchdown to Ed Walker. . . . Van Nuys picked up 197 yards in total offense but had seven turnovers.
