Bouquet-Bomb Suspect Held
SAN FRANCISCO — Authorities arrested a man in rural Lake County today and charged him with being the tuxedo-clad bomber who delivered a booby-trapped bouquet that injured two women in a federal office. Police said the suspect was living with the estranged husband of one of the victims.
Shaun Small, 27, was taken into custody on a federal warrant charging him with detonation of an explosive device involving personal injury. Bail was set at $100,000. The same man allegedly tried to deliver another bouquet to one of the victim’s parents a short time after the Monday explosion, but the woman’s 78-year-old father turned him away.
