Bob Hope has been voted America’s most famous living show business figure, according to a nationwide survey by American Opinion Research for “PM Magazine,” a nationally syndicated television show.
Results of the survey will be broadcast Jan. 16. Other survey results concluded Muhammad Ali was the most famous living sports figure, with Babe Ruth as the most famous sports personality of all time.
The late John Wayne was voted the most famous entertainment personality of all time.
