4 Children Die in Fire

WICHITA, Kan. —
Four children among a family of 13 people died in a fire early today that apparently began in the basement of their two-story house, fire officials said. They said the children, two boys and two girls aged 2, 5, 9, and 12, were asleep in the basement of the home of Timothy and Sharon Hurley when the fire broke out.
