Aztecs to Meet Air Force Tonight
San Diego State will try for its first victory in three Western Athletic Conference basketball games when it plays the Air Force Academy tonight at 6:30.
The Aztecs (2-10) began conference play with losses at home Saturday to New Mexico, 88-84, and Monday to Texas El Paso, 77-58.
Center Gerald Murray, scoreless in two straight games, scored a career-high 20 points against UTEP. Freshman guard Tony Ross is averaging a team-leading 17.7 points.
Air Force (7-3) will play its first WAC game tonight. Guard Mike Hammond leads the Falcons with a 14.8 scoring average.
