Jerry Kindall of the University of Arizona was named coach of the year among NCAA Division I-A baseball coaches by the American Baseball Coaches Assn.
Other coach of the year selections were Chase Riddle, Troy State (Ala.), Division II and Dan Schaly, Marietta College (Ohio), division III.
