Long Beach Leads USIU Golf Tournament

BONSALL — Cal State Long Beach holds a 17-stroke lead after 27 holes of the 54-hole United States International University men’s golf tournament on the San Luis Rey Downs Country Club.
The 49ers lead with a team total 554. UC Irvine is second (571) and Hawaii third (575). San Diego State is seventh (585), USIU eighth (594), the USD 10th (607) and Point Loma Nazarene 12th (647).
The final 27-hole round of the 12-team tournament begins today at 7:30 a.m..
