Olympic gold medalist Tyrell Biggs, undefeated as a professional boxer, will fight David Bey in a heavyweight bout on the undercard of the Mike Tyson-James (Bonecrusher) Smith heavyweight title fight March 7 in Las Vegas, promoters said.
Biggs, ranked No. 1 by the World Boxing Assn., is 13-0 with eight knockouts. He won the Olympic gold medal in the super-heavyweight division in 1984.
Bey (15-4) last fought in November when he lost a 10-round decision to veteran Joe Bugner in Australia. Bey, 29, was knocked out by Larry Holmes in a heavyweight title fight in March of 1985.
Biggs, 25, is coming off a 10-round decision in December over Renaldo Snipes.
