Pasadena : Civic Center Panel Formed

The Board of Directors has created a city committee to investigate ways to revise the city’s current master development plan for the civic center. The Civic Center Planning Committee will be made up of representatives from the Community Development Committee, the Cultural Heritage Commission, the Design Review Commission, the Planning Commission and the YMCA, which owns property in the civic center area.

The committee will be responsible for recommending how the city should revise its civic center plan, including what areas should be included and what method the city should use in formulating the plan.

The new plan would be used to guide future development around City Hall in a way that would preserve the architectural and historic quality of the area.
