Man Stabbed to Death in Oceanside Motel
A 32-year-old Oceanside man died en route to Tri-City Medical Center early Wednesday morning after being stabbed once in the chest at a local motel, police said.
Richard de Leon was found about 2:30 a.m. by his friend, Bernard Witt, who was sharing a room with him at the Riviera Motel on 6th Street.
Witt told police that he called for help after finding his friend wounded and saying he had been stabbed.
There are no suspects or witnesses, police said.
An autopsy will be performed, coroner’s deputies said.
