USD Tops Iowa to Advance to Tennis Final

SAN DIEGO — David Stewart defeated Rudy Foo in singles and combined with Scott Partridge for a doubles victory over Foo and Dave Novak to lead the University of San Diego over Iowa, 7-2, Saturday in a semifinal match of the USD Intercollegiate Invitational tennis tournament.
USD (20-6) will meet Nebraska today for the championship at USD. Nebraska beat Brown, 7-2, Saturday.
