The agent for Houston Astro shortstop Dickie Thon says he intends to file a grievance against the National League club because it allegedly is trying to run his client out of the organization.

“This is a question of how low you can go,” said Tom Reich. “Dickie is very irritated at the Astros organization., He thinks he is within days of being able to play, but it’s very clear that the Astros are trying to drive him away.”

Thon complained the Astros were not giving him proper direction during workouts in Florida as he tries to return to the roster. Thon has been having vision problems related to a 1984 beaning.
