Crash Victim Improves: A woman who was involved in a weekend high-speed auto crash that killed three people, including her husband, had improved to “critical but stable” condition Thursday at UCI Medical Center in Orange, a hospital spokeswoman said. Jeaneanne Peloquin, 33, is the only survivor of Sunday’s crash on narrow Laguna Canyon Road, 1 1/2 miles north of El Toro Road junction. On Monday, she had been in extremely critical condition with multiple fractures. Peloquin’s husband, Wilfred, 43, of Dade City, Fla., was killed in the accident along with the driver of the second car, James G. Miceli, 29, and his passenger, Michael J. Conway, 31, both from Olathe, Kan. Police have said that the accident occurred about 9:10 p.m. when Miceli lost control of his speeding sports car and struck the other car coming in the opposite direction.
