Fullerton Signs Seven Women Gymnasts

Cal State Fullerton signed seven women gymnasts to letters of intent Wednesday.

Margot Gumerlock of Bound Brook, N.J., has consistently placed in the top five in all national invitational meets. Lisa Dolan of Waterloo, Iowa, is a three-time member of the U.S. Elite National Team and finished second in the all-around at the 1986 Amateur Athletic Union National Championships.

The Titans also signed Heidi Geier of Calgary, who is considered to be the top Canadian collegiate prospect; Tiffany Lambert of Burke, Va., a three-time Class 1 National competitor, and Stacey Harris of San Diego, who finished third at the 1986 Class 1 National Championships after finishing first at the state and regional levels.

Also signed were Krisxan Pappas of Phoenix, who placed first in every event at the 1985 Class 1 state championships in Arizona, and Virginia Nita Lichtenstein of Houston, who won the all-around championship at the 1986 Class 1 state championship in Texas.
