USIU to Play in Women’s Golf Championships
SAN DIEGO —
The United States International University women’s golf team has qualified for the NCAA championships for the second time in the last three years.
The Gulls, ranked No. 13 in the nation, play in the 16-team tournament at Albuquerque, N.M., May 27-30.
USIU is led by three-time All American Laurette Martiz, ranked No. 1 in the nation among women collegiate golfers. Martiz is bidding to become the first four-time All American in women’s collegiate golf.
