Parish Received Only a Slap on the Wrist
I can’t believe Mike Downey was at the fifth game of the Boston-Detroit series. His article completely whitewashed the brutal attack by Parish on Laimbeer. Downey failed to remark on the complacency shown by the officials, especially at Boston Garden. And when fans start paying the fines of penalized players, the NBA has no other recourse but to suspend players.
