Steve Cauthen will try to win the 207-year-old Epsom Derby for the second time when he rides favored Reference Point over the 1 1/2-mile Epsom turf course today. Cauthen, who narrowly escaped injury last weekend after being thrown in the paddock area by another horse, won the Epsom Derby in 1985 aboard Slip Anchor.
