Duarte : Development Moratorium
The City Council has declared a moratorium on development along Huntington Drive, the city’s main thoroughfare, while it considers ways to make zoning of land there, now a mix of residential and commercial, more consistent.
The city is updating its general plan and will hold public hearings on land use. Mayor John Van Doren said projects already in progress will not be affected by the moratorium.
