Crespi and Reseda Win Alumni Games

Crespi and Reseda were first-round winners in an alumni basketball tournament Friday night at the Lakeview Terrace Recreation Center.

Crespi defeated a short-handed North Hollywood team, 76-67. North Hollywood, playing the entire game with only four players, had led with only two minutes left. Tom Morley and Jason Turner had 25 points each for Crespi. Leonard Howard had 32 for North Hollywood.

Reseda got 14 points and 14 rebounds from Eric Marquez and 24 points from Tom Cassidy to defeat Granada Hills, 83-61.

Crespi and Reseda play a second-round game at 3 p.m. today at Cleveland High. North Hollywood meets Granada Hills at noon in the double-elimination tournament.
