Motorcyclist, 19, Killed in Crash Into Truck’s Side

A 19-year-old Orange man was killed Monday when his motorcycle crashed into the side of a roofing truck that had turned in front of him, police said.
Eddy Cabral was northbound on Orangewood Avenue in Orange shortly after 7 a.m. when a westbound truck made a left turn onto Poplar Street, police spokesman Bob Gustafson said.
Cabral, who was not wearing a helmet, was unable to stop in time and broadsided the truck, Gustafson said.
The driver of the truck was not cited, but Gustafson said an investigation into the accident is continuing.
