Huntington Beach : Office Provides Free Quake Survival Guides
The Huntington Beach emergency services office is offering free earthquake survival programs to local schools, organizations and citizen groups of 25 persons or more.
The program offers information ranging from searching for hazards to the correction of potential hazards in homes, offices or classrooms. Literature is provided on what supplies are needed to survive the first three days after a quake.
Huntington Beach residents will also be informed on the special threats of flooding, water spouts and tsunamis that are of particular concern to Southern California coastal communities.
To set up an appointment for an earthquake survival program, call Glorria Morrison at (714) 536-5980.
