Orange County College Roundup : Hawaii Beats Fullerton in Volleyball
Tita Ahuna and Suzanne Eagye had 13 kills each to lead second-ranked Hawaii to a 15-10, 15-9, 15-6 win over Cal State Fullerton Wednesday in Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. volleyball at Fullerton.
Tammy Miller had 11 kills and Susan Herman 8 for Fullerton (1-7 in conference play, 8-11 overall). Hawaii is 8-0 and 13-0.
In Golden State Athletic Conference volleyball:
Fresno Pacific 3, Southern California O--Leigh Ann Vanderheyden had seven kills and five blocks and Heidi Haffner had five kills and seven blocks for SCC (2-6, 6-11), but Fresno Pacific (6-2, 14-5) still won, 15-9, 15-4, 15-11.
In men’s California Collegiate Athletic Assn. soccer:
Chapman 2, Cal State Dominguez Hills 2 (overtime)--Scott McCrimmon scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season for Chapman (0-0-1, 5-3-2) at home. Dominguez is 0-0-1 and 2-6-2.
In women’s CCAA soccer:
Cal State Dominguez Hills 1, Chapman 0--Michelle Salas scored 15 minutes into the first half for Dominguez Hills (1-0, 8-4-1) at Chapman (0-1, 1-6).
In nonconference water polo:
Caltech 14, Chapman 11--Freshman Tommy Moran had four goals and Pat Moran added three for Chapman (1-13) at Pasadena.
