Loma Linda College received a rude welcome into the sport of men’s college soccer--a 24-0 defeat by The Master’s College at Newhall.

It was the first game in the sport for Loma Linda, a Division III school in Riverside.

The Master’s College, which improved its record to 9-3, scored a goal in the first minute of the game, and had tallied five times before the game was five minutes old. The Master’s College outshot Loma Linda, 62-1.
