Over The Ocean Wins Feature by Half-Length

Over The Ocean, ridden by Chris McCarron, took the lead on the final turn and held off a late challenge to win the $48,000 feature race by a half-length Thursday at Santa Anita’s Oak Tree meeting.

Northern Provider, ridden by David Patton, finished second, two lengths in front of Narghile.

Over The Ocean ran 1 1/8 miles on the turf in 1:47 4/5 and paid $3.40, $2.80 and $2.20.
