FALL HIGHLIGHTS : Northridge Tops Dominguez Hills in Soccer, 3-1
Cal State Northridge defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills, 3-1, Wednesday in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. soccer match at Dominguez Hills.
Northridge (12-1-1, 4-0-1), ranked third in Division II, retained a share of first place in the CCAA standings. Joey Kirk, Rodney Batt and Henry Vasquez scored goals for CSUN.
WATER POLO
Pierce 14, Chaffey 8--Drew Blaisdell scored six goals to lead Pierce College to a 14-8 nonconference win over Chaffey at Pierce.
Westlake 17, Simi Valley 9--Rusty Rudolph scored five goals and Rob Douglas and Steve Lai each scored four as Westlake High (6-10, 3-2) won a Marmonte League game at Newbury Park.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Moorpark d. Bishop Diego, 15-13, 20-18, 15-13--Moorpark High defeated Bishop Diego for the first time in a Tri-Valley League match.
GIRLS TENNIS
Louisville 11, Simi Valley 7--The Louisville High doubles teams won eight of nine matches en route to a nonleague victory at Simi Valley.
