Lancers Win Behind Neben

Jason Neben rushed for 77 yards in 19 carries and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Orange Lutheran to a 26-19 Olympic League victory over Ontario Christian Friday at Ontario.

Neben scored on a three-yard run in the first quarter to tie the score, 7-7.

Neben, who passed for 86 yards and a touchdown, was intercepted with 10 seconds remaining in the second quarter. But the Ontario Christian defender, who intercepted Neben, fumbled the ball, and Neben picked it up and ran it in for the Lancers’ touchdown.

Neben hit Gaylord Greene on a 25-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter.
