Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will be among the missing when the Lakers wind up exhibition play tonight against the Chicago Bulls in the annual Hall of Fame game here.

Johnson is being treated for Achilles’ tendinitis but is expected to be ready when the Lakers open the regular season at home Friday against the Seattle SuperSonics. Abdul-Jabbar has a sinus condition, according to team officials, and stayed home in Los Angeles.

James Worthy, who sprained an ankle last week, made the trip and is expected to play.

The Lakers, 7-0 in practice games, are bidding to be the only unbeaten team in exhibition play.
