City Section Football Highlights : VALLEY 4-A LEAGUE

Granada Hills 33, Kennedy 9--Quarterback Jeremy Leach threw four touchdowns and passed for 217 yards to lead Granada Hills, which takes a 6-3 record (4-0 in the league) into the City playoffs.

Kennedy (1-6-1, 0-3-1) scored first on Craig Fleck’s 28-yard field goal in the second quarter. Granada pulled ahead 7-3 on Jamal Farmer’s nine-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter.

Leach, who completed 12 of 25 passes, has thrown for 2,029 yards this season. The 6-4 senior threw all four touchdown passes in the second half. Tight end Sean Brown had 5 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown, wide receiver Kyle Jan had 3 catches for 41 yards and 2 scores and Darryl Stephenson had a touchdown reception of 50 yards.
